Environmental, Safety & Health
The preservation of the environment and the safety of our employees and visitors is engrained in our culture. We take actions to ensure that we leave the environment as we found it and that our employees work in an atmosphere that is safe. We do this by:
- Meeting all of the requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) administered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Ensuring that all aspects of our facility meet the requirements of The Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA)
- Holding regular safety training classes taught by an outside contractor
- Conducting internal monthly safety meetings
- Instructing visitors on safety procedures
Winning awards from the Forging Industry Association for our safety record is proof that our system is effective. We have finished in the top three for the lowest Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART) rating over six times.
